It’s the last day of March 2023, and for me, that means I’m hours away from Spring Break. It also means that we have reached the end of Q1 2023, so it’s likely a good time to evaluate where you are with any goals or projects you wanted to accomplish this year.
Hopefully, you’re further along your list than I am ;)
As we head into spring, I hope you find that sense of renewal and hope that I feel each year at this time. I think March is a far better time to declare the beginning of a new year than dreary January, and since I’m a January baby, I can speak to what an awful month it really is, full of dark days and snow demons. Yuck.

The trailer for Wes Anderson’s Asteroid City dropped this week, and I am 100% here for all of it. Mostly because this line from the trailer, “What do those pulses indicate?” “What? Oh, the beeps and blips? We don't know…” gives me the same vibes as this scene from Airplane II.
You can hear the Epic of Gilgamesh in its native Akkadian language, which is fairly awesome.
I finally got around to reading “The Lies of Locke Lamora” after poking and prodding from more people than I can count. Overall, it’s a fantastic, fun read. If you enjoy heists and the “gentlemen thief” archetype, you should check it out.
